The final stop on the Dublin Scratch Cup series and the last scratch cup in the capital this year takes place in RGSC on Sunday. The wonderful championship Kingswood venue should play host to a fitting conclusion to the series on Sunday. The Start time is 8AM and last card is 12.30PM sharp so we ask players to make the final tee off time. There is generally a bumper crowd at the N7 venue as it provides the perfect warm up for players ahead of the GRIP competition the following weekend. The presentation of the Scratch Cup Series prizes will follow the presentation of prizes for the RGSC Scratch cup series on Sunday. The top prize in the gents looks like it might be a shootup out between Stephen Murray, Ian Dillon and John Ross Crangle. However there are a multitude of players still chasing a top 4 finish. In the ladies Maree O ‘Toole is in pole position to win the series and she just needs to be in the top five ladies on Sunday to secure that accolode or if Linda Thomson doesn’t get the top prize, Maree won’t need any points at all. The County Board and the seven clubs who has joined forces to run the Series would like to thank all those who have supported it and hope we can finish off in style with the biggest and best scratch cup in RGSC on Sunday. We hope to see you there.
