The National inter counties took place over the weekend in Douglas Co Cork. Our ladies and gents teams took 3rd places despite not firing on all cylinders.The Douglas course proved extremely tricky and with some dubious pin positions some players were left frustrated and almost traumatized.The inclement weather caused the event to revert to a 36 hole shootout and we had no play on Sunday despite the best efforts of all concerned.Well done to Cork on winning both titles and to our own teams thanks for the great effort over the past few months.We can now look forward to next season and hopefully at home we can improve our finishing positions.
