The Dublin County Board U-16 Juvenile Open, sponsored by Maldron Hotel Tallaght, was played in Glenville Pitch and Putt Club today, the 13th July.
What a great day we had!! The course was immaculate, as is the norm for this wonderful test of pitch and putt! A hugethanks to Glenville P&P Club for facilitating this event on their fantastic course. The weather matched the course on a lovely day up the Kiltipper Road, and there was some great scoring!!
29 players took to the 1st tee for 36 holes of Strokeplay. This is a great figure and the Dublin County Board were delighted to welcome players from the neighbouring counties of Meath, Westmeath, Kildare and Offaly. A big thanks to all that travelled and contributed to make this a very enjoyable day for all the juveniles.
This event is the 3rd of a rota within Leinster for the young juveniles. Having already played the Meath one in Navan and Westmeath in Kilbeggan next up is the Kildare U16 Open in St Bridget’s P&P Club on Sat 27th July.
