The Ladies class 2 final took place last Friday in RGSC with Glenville and Lucan taking part. In the foursomes Glenville secured 2 pts which left Lucan with an uphill task. The singles proved exciting with both teams gaining the overall lead but with one match left on the course it was 4 all. It was left to Glenvilles evergreen Carmel Doyle to secure the winning point on the 17th green much to the delight of the Glenville contingent. It was a gallant effort by a brave Lucan team but Glenville proved too strong on the night to gain a deserved victory.
