We had our first mixed scramble in Portmarnock yesterday and with the course inits usual pristine condition,we saw some great performances.The early starters had a mild temperature and almost no breeze to contend with, the scoring was top class with the Lucan group of T Donovan,C Byrne & D Creevy setting a target which proved victorious.Our thanks to the Portmarnock club for proving excellent hosts and to all who entered the competition.
