An action packed weekend instore for Dublin Pitch & Putt with Saturday morning seeing the start of the Under 16 & Under 20 All Ireland Strokeplay Championships in Erry, Clara, Co.Offaly.
Gareth Walsh (Cpm) and Ross O’Reilly(Old County) will be looking at challenging to become the first Under 20 Champions as the new initiative takes off.
The Under 16s play just after them and 8 Dublin players will be taking to the slopes of Erry, trying to become only the 5th player from the capital to win the title. The last to do so was Portmarnocks Darragh Rodgers 10yrs ago. 3 clubs will be represented with Glenville, Lucan and Old County members taking part.
On Sunday at the same venue, the National Inter Counties will take place and the team will be looking to improve from their showing in Collinstown. We wish them along with our juvenile officer Miriam Salmon the very best of luck all weekend
