At Mondays meeting in Portmarnock, it was confirmed that Breda Boyle (Glenville) would be back as Competition Secretary. As everyone knows, Breda brings fantastic experience and dedication to the role and we can all look forward to an efficient schedule ahead. Congrats Breda and best of luck.
Julian Kelly of Glenville was set to take the role as indicated at the AGM but couldn’t follow through on it due to other commitments at this time. We thank Julian for expressing an interest though and hope to recruit Julian at some point in the future!
The meeting itself saw the November minutes signed off together with the finance report. Our new U.16 officer Shane Devlin delivered a very detailed and exciting schedule for our Juvenile members and we look forward to supporting Shane in any way we can through the season. We then proceeded to discuss the Leagues with a proposal coming in from our League Secretary Junior Smith. This was discussed and considered before being passed. A team will ultimately contain members from different grades. Watch out for announcements and entry forms over the coming weeks about this exciting new format.
The next meeting was fixed for the 4th March in Lucan at 8.15pm.
