This weekend the Dublin Senior teams will be finalised ahead of the Inter County in Collinstown on August 10th. The top 4 in the gents namely JR Crangle, Mark Millar, Chris Gallagher & Keith Redmond had their work done ahead of the last trial in RGSC. Two more places up for grabs after the All Ireland strokeplay in Stackallen, when the selectors will announce their two picks.
The Dublin Gents Inter & Junior teams were finalised at the Dublin Strokeplay in Erins Isle two weeks ago and they are

The manager of the Gents Inter team will be Charlie Egan (Erins Isle). Charlie missed out on the team due to his cut to the senior grade by winning the Dublin Strokeplay. Another to miss out on the team was Glenville’s Aaron O’Droighneain who has been one of the standout Inters this year before getting cut to Senior in June. Charlie though has added Aaron to his squad for the challenge match with West Meath in Rockfortbridge on August 09th.
The Junior team to represent Dublin will be

The Manager of the Junior team will be Rob Ryan (Old County). Like Aaron another to miss out on the team after getting cut was Long Meadow’s Eric Doyle and he too has been added to the Junior team for the match with WestMeath on August 09th.
The Leinster Inter County itself will be held in Athgarvan on Sunday August 17th. it promises to be an historic day in Pitch N’ Putt. The Dublin teams would be delighted of plenty of support on the day. We hope we will have multiple Dublin successes to toast this August before the National’s in early September.
The Dublin Under 16 team will also be on Inter County duty in McBride and in Navan in August. We wish Jim Milligan & his team the best of luck.
